Breakfast buffet was amazing!! We ate here everyday after we discovered it. The omelet station is probably the best I've ever had. I am not exactly sure why it's any different than other omelet stations...but it is!! The bacon was delicious! Crispy and flavorful. The pineapples and oranges were so ripe and tasty. The service was great as well. We paid $27 each including taxes and gratuity. Well worth the money!! Located inside the Grand Summit lodge!

My previous 1 star review is in reference to The Cabin, the bar on 825 South Main St., Park City. I sincerely apologize for the mix up! The picture posted is from the other "The Cabin" location.

Guys this place is 3 stars awesome! Everyone who works here is great, decent food, shuffleboard, pool tables, outside smoking and drinking section and good vibes in general! The reason why I didnt give the Elcupine five stars is because the bartenders are WHACK. I'm here on vacation from San Diego and I have never seen a bartender keep their job when they pulled this type of stunt. Its absurd and that is putting it lightly... So I made some frienda with some local kids and the guy bought a beer for he and his buddy. Standard right? Nope. He didnt tip the bartender because he was giving him a hard time so the bartender kicked him out. Im a firm believer of good service gets good tip. The bartender in Boston hat clearly lives by a different code. So my buddy got kicked out for not tipping terrible service. Its not my problem so I don't care; until the next night. My bro and I went back to the cabin because we like the vibes. I rack up the pool table while my bro went to grab a beer. He asks the bartender (her name tag said cocoa butta) for a beer and she says, "no you need a microphone" and walks away. Long story shorter l, we didnt get a beer for 30 minutes because cocoa butter thought it would be funny to make us wait. The bartenders ruined this otherwise cool bar. See for yourselfs and have fun waiting an hour for a drink.

Even though it was a buffet breakfast service was good. Lots of choices. Not high brow or luxurious but will keep you satisfied before a day on the slopes. You can custom order your omelette -- has mine with a salmon and spinach -- tasty and healthy. Overall good experience.

This review may be relevant in about a year from now; I am covering their holiday buffet served on xmas eve. Ambience: *Felt like the inside of a real cabin complete with log walls, four pane windows, and old school skis on the wall. An understated elegance throughout with attention to detail: from the curve on my coffee spoon to the high-thread count white napkins to the the Vermeeresque lighting *Live music was a solo performance sublime covers of Jack Johnson, Beatles, and others plus all the usual holiday classics. Unfortunately he was only plugged into the room with the buffet. The dining room had nouvelle jazz at barely discernible volume coming from the ceiling. Service: *seated without reservations after waiting about two hours. This is preferred when dinner is a buffet and the buffet is extraordinary. *Host, named Craig, exhibited outstanding host skills in handling the massive holiday crowds with courteous efficiency *table service was pristine. cleared almost immediately as we got up to hit the buffet encore une fois. We were seated in a high traffic area which may account for all the attention. *server actually said to us: "you have the most impressive plate I have seen this evening. Respect!" Food: *platters overflowing with fruit, salmon, quiches, salads, vegetables traditional fixings...etc. *The mashed potatoes in creamy hyperbuttered splendor; the stuffing chock full of dried cranberries , sage, and wild mushroooms. *Butternut squash soup was rich and creamy. More butternut than soup. *pasta station was manned by an individual who obvious did not want to be working since he repeatedly directed me to previously prepared pasta rather than create a novel permutation for me. *a couple silver urns held were set on a lower table for children. Tater tots, grilled cheese sandwich triangles, pasta, and more. I tried some when nobody was looking. Almost considered ordering a Shirley Temple to go with it. *Roast beef and ham carving stations in competition with each other for thicker cuts. The ham was a pink salt bomb. The roast beef was tender and juicy. *well-appointed wine menu. *table of desserts. Best in show was the white chocolate mousse topped with a bourbon vanilla sauce and blueberries served in wine glasses. Close second was the pitch-perfect tira misu. Grocery store chocolate cake and and macarons tied for last place. The desserts kept disappearing and then reappearing. It is the magic of the holidays. *coffee included. dark chocolaty and thick as molasses. my favorite. A perfect end to a perfect meal. Respect!

I enjoyed the basic breakfast buffet. They had a nice selection of American style dishes and fresh fruit. I was staying at the Westgate Park City Resort - let me say, my breakfast here was well worth the walk across the ski stations.

I've never been disappointed by the Cabin. The omelets are great. The yogurt parfaits are amazing, too. Great service!

We got breakfast coupons to eat at this place while staying in the resort. Instead of the typical continental breakfast, we got a full breakfast buffet. They had various types of fresh fruits, cereals, bread, etc and the typical American style breakfast food such as bacon, potato, sausage, scramble eggs, pancake, etc. The food quality was great and the service was good. My favorite has to be the fresh fruit yogurt. I couldn't leave the restaurant without having one regardless of how full I was. I like drinking tea so that's usually my choice of drink. Surprisingly, about half of the tea bag selections were organic tea. The one I liked the most was the rose flavored green tea. It's very light and organic and the smell of rose was very refreshing. Only problem was the hot water wasn't very hot, so it didn't quite bring out all the flavor from the tea leaves. I'm not sure how much it normally costs to eat here; but for free, it was beyond amazing.

We were staying at the Grand Summit and decided to eat dinner here one night. We were greeted very warmly (my family including 3 young kids), and seated almost immediately. In short - great service, very good food, smallish portions, and cost in-line with a typical resort restaurant. But, I didn't feel ripped off afterwards. The great service started as soon as we sat down. They actually brought my kids a magnetic drawing board (for them to borrow, not keep) and some play-doh which they really appreciated. I started with some soup (I believe it was a corn chowder - yum), and ordered a drink off the kids-menu. The soup was fantastic. The drink was akin to an italian soda. For a main dish I had sea bass served on a bed of lentils. It was delicious, and the fish was cooked just right IMHO. We finished our meal with a chocolate "fondue" - which sounded better than it was... still the kids enjoyed the novelty of it. It was actually just a bowl of chocolate syrup, with assorted fruits and cake. The "cake" was actually some slightly toasted bread -- a bit weird with chocolate sauce. It would have been good to add some marshmallows and maybe some graham crackers or cookies instead.

pretty pretty pretty pretty good. not great, but good. our company took out a group of 35 people, mostly CEO types from various transplant organizations, and we all had dinner here. i missed the bread and butter since it was my job to schmooze until everyone was seated. once i was able to sit and eat, i had the last piece of some warm flat bread with, i think, feta and bleu cheese, and some roasted veggies. it was good but i had no idea what it was an no one sitting around me cared enough to know what it was. next was an amuse bouche of potato soup, definitely needed some salt and flavor, the thin shot glass didn't meld well with the viscosity of the soup either, ie, slow pour. for my entree i picked the salmon off the waiter's recommendation. the salmon itself was really good and had loads of crispy edges. it was presented atop a mound of equally good broccoli risotto. dessert is where it all went wrong. i helped pick the menu before we came, and we decided the chocolate dish would be more widely accepted over the banana dessert. the chocolate dessert was some s'mores type thing but mutated. it was basically a cereal bowl, a large one, filled half way up with hot under cooked thick brownie, on top of that was about half a pound of mini marshmellows that were lightly toasted. sounds good? i kinda thought it would have been, but not a single person at our table was able to finish more than 1/4th of it. overall though, the dinner was good, all our clients loved it and seemed very happy.
